《福陵觉尔察氏谱书》探微

《福陵觉尔察氏谱书》是一部记事全面、较为完整的满族氏族谱书。原本存藏于清王朝发祥地——辽宁省新宾满族自治县永陵镇肇氏家中,吉林省通化县亦有藏本。永陵镇肇氏存藏的谱书原本存放在黄绢封面的木匣之中。《谱书》全文分为上下两卷,竖向八开本,共计八十七页。木匣正端及《谱书》两卷的封页,皆楷书《福陵觉尔察氏谱书》八字。     

关于志书编纂的三个问题

编纂思想是地方志书的命脉,是一部志书的灵魂。用正确的编纂思想指导第二轮修志工作,编纂出版高质量的地方志书是地方志工作服务于党的中心工作、服务于经济社会发展、服务于中国特色社会主义文化大发展大繁荣的根本。依法修志是第二轮修志工作的法律保障。创新编纂方式,是提高志书质量的技术支持。

镇江博物馆藏有一卷释明俭所绘的《曝书图》,真实还原了阮元焦山书藏的曝书场景,让后人得以了解藏书、护书的艰辛。     

日本《中村不折旧藏禹域墨书集成》题跋研究

日本《台东区立书道博物馆所藏中村不折旧藏禹域墨书集成》(上、中、下)三册有43件写本附有题跋129则,其中王树楠先生的题跋已有研究成果,还剩赵惟熙、张培恺、成本璞、白坚、孔宪庭等人的题跋有待释录。本文对王树楠先生题跋之外的前10件写本共18则题跋进行全文释录,并对朱玉麒先生的释录部分进行核对与订正,以期完成《中村不折旧藏禹域墨书集成》三册题跋的全部考释,为中村不折藏禹域墨书的研究者提供比较准确的校录文本。     

试论唐贞观年间所并的大碛路——兼评《大唐西域记史地研究丛稿》

最近拜读周连宽先生著《大唐西域记史地研究丛稿》一书,受益良多。这部书是我国第一部系统研究《大唐西域记》史地专著。作者用大量资料及中外研究成果、后人行记复核玄奘行程,作了详尽的考证,道里清晰可见,对于致力西北史地的同志来说,具有很高的参考价值。但是这部书在论及贞观六年所开大碛路时,有些地方似还可以商榷,故在此提出,谨请致力此学科的专家们批评指正。

《中国钱币》1984年第3期刊登了郭若愚先生大作《介绍刘鹗的未刊稿<铁云藏货>》(以下简称《介绍》),详述了《铁云藏货》一书内容,引起专家学者们的注意。经千家驹先生介绍,《铁云藏货》将由中华书局影印出版,会引起更多人的关注。《铁云藏货》是刘鹗“所藏三代文字”中的第三部分。《铁云藏龟》、《铁云藏匋》(含《铁云泥封》)早已出版,为世人瞩目。惟《铁云藏泉》一书是否存天壤间,数十年来始终是一悬案。吴昌绶在《铁云泥封·序》中写到“昌绶于癸卯冬始获识铁云先生,方汇

哈佛大学燕京图书馆藏《四库书目庋藏表》考

《四库全书分架图》作为《四库全书》的重要组成部分,详细著录了库书的排架位次、函数、合函等情况,有助于检寻库书和指导排架。哈佛大学燕京图书馆所藏《四库书目庋藏表》实为直式《四库全书分架图》,是馆臣办理库书补函、排架时抄写的一个工作簿,抄写于嘉庆四年(1799)至嘉庆九年二月初一日之间,所抄分架图主体部分为乾隆时期所写,又补入了嘉庆时期库书排架变动的信息。对比“南三阁”目录与“北三阁”架图,结合《庋藏表》与《文渊阁分架图》的性质及二者联系,确定《庋藏表》归属文渊阁系统,亦反映“北四阁”《四库全书》的排架情况。《四库书目庋藏表》最重要的价值在于可以借此窥探嘉庆时期《四库全书》增补抽改和架次调整排定的真实情况。     

新刊俄藏敦煌文献研读札记

本是关于新公布的俄藏敦煌书的初步整理研究成果,作对《俄藏敦煌献》第16册中的重要非佛教献进行了定名、校录和考证。     

上海中外银钱业联合会筹建述论(1921～1929)

中外银钱业联合会是1920年代上海中外银钱业三方共同组建的一个金融合作组织。中外银钱业的三个同业公会为筹建该联合会进行了长期交涉。该联合会虽在组织制度上使外国银行得益较多,但它的成立也为本国银行拓展外汇业务提供了有利条件。考察中外银钱业联合会的筹建过程,可为揭示近代上海中外银钱业在三足鼎立格局中的互动关系提供一个直接例证。     

“满铁”哈尔滨图书馆

满铁哈尔滨图书馆是南满洲铁道株式会社三家图书馆之一。满铁哈尔滨图书馆源流实际上由两部分构成,一部分是中东铁路中央图书馆,一部分是满铁在哈尔滨成立的原满铁哈尔滨图书馆。本文介绍了满铁哈尔滨图书馆源流、馆藏特色文献以及1945年抗战胜利后满铁哈尔滨图书馆被接收情况和文献流向。

A trip to the library: homelessness and social inclusion

This article explores homeless men's visits to a public library. It shows how homeless men identified the library as a space for safety and social participation, at a time when the regional newspaper published an item questioning the appropriateness of their presence in the library. The news report promotes universal narratives that would exclude homeless people, showing the intimate relationship between the symbolic space of news, the material space of the local library, and the lifeworlds of homeless men. We report fieldwork in which we interviewed homeless men, library staff and patrons. In addition, we worked with journalists on follow-up articles foregrounding the positive function of the library in homeless men's lives, and to challenge existing news narratives that advocate the exclusion of ‘the homeless’ from prime public spaces.

One Hundred Members of the Association of British Neurologists: A Collective Biography for 1933–1960

This article draws a quantitative portrait of British neurology in the interwar and postwar periods through an analysis of the first 100 members of the Association of British Neurologists. Through its presentation of data, this article argues that the members of the Association of British Neurologists were extremely ambitious and as a whole had attained unusually high levels of social, professional, and civil distinction. It makes this argument through an examination of their social and educational backgrounds, the trajectory of their careers, and their achievements in the form of editorships of journals, professorships in medicine, positions in government, honorary degrees, and other indicators of merit. This collective study therefore offers an explanation for how the Association of British Neurologists transformed from an elite club in the 1930s into an organization that eventually came to represent clinical neurology across Britain.     

A path towards Fascism: nationalism and large-scale industry in Italy (1910–1923)

In the decade before World War I, close connections developed in Italy between the nationalists and major elements of large-scale industry. As the Italian Nationalist Association, founded in 1910, became the main political reference for industrialists, the ties between nationalism and the business community helped to undermine the liberal state and end the political system established by Giovanni Giolitti. During World War I, the Nationalist Association developed close links with the Ansaldo company and supported it in the ‘parallel wars’ of Italian capitalism. Ansaldo went bankrupt in 1921, but the nationalists were able to establish relations with other entrepreneurs. Their connection with large-scale industry lay behind Mussolini’s decision in 1923 to accept the Nationalist Association into the National Fascist Party. Nationalism not only ensured that important economic forces would support the Fascist regime but its ideology significantly contributed to the building of Mussolini’s dictatorship.
