The early section of the Worcester chronicle

The Latin chronicle traditionally attributed to Florence of Worcester is examined, and it is suggested that its early portion, down to the end of the reign of Æthelred the Unready, was compiled at Ramsey Abbey in Huntingdonshire during the last two decades of his reign. The repercussions of this on the transmission of the vernacular texts of the Anglo-Saxon chronicle are explored.

若干新认定《千字文》写卷叙录及缀合研究

敦煌文献中保存了不少<千字文>写卷,前人著录,迭有加增,其中以<敦煌蒙书研究>一书著录最多,计47件.笔者在调查敦煌文献过程中又相继认定了<千字文>写卷数十件,本文把若干件前人未曾著录或前人之著录可补正者逐一加以梳理,以供相关研究者参考.     

从房地产篇目设置和内容记述引发的思考

通过《北京志》房地产分志和北京市《石景山区志》房地产管理章这两部分内容,对房地产、房地产管理、房地产业三个概念作了比较深入的分析,并由此认为设置与房地产有关的篇目,应更重视按社会分工,而不拘泥于管理部门。     

志书章节体与条目体的融合

章节体、条目体是地方志书的两种主要体例。第二轮修志要注意融合章节体、条目体的长处,安排体例,设置篇目。目前,有些志书采用所谓的章节条目结合体,实际上并没有解决好他们的结合问题。正确的做法是,选择其中一种体例,以其为主导,吸收他体之长。在两者的取长补短过程中,应保持各自的特点和优势,不要失去本色。     

James Arbuckle and Dean Swift: cultural politics in the Irish confessional state

James Arbuckle, born a Presbyterian in Belfast, educated at Glasgow University, moved to Dublin under the patronage of the radical Whig Viscount Molesworth. He arrived at the time of Swift's triumph as ‘The Drapier’. Writing under the name ‘Hibernicus’, he produced a series of essays in the style of Addison's Spectator (1725–26). They can be read as a ‘polite’ Whig critique of Swift's Irish writing, particularly on confessional division. Arbuckle was clearly identified as a political opponent of Swift in a series of lampoons from Swift's circle. He wrote more incisively against the confessional state in his 1729 work The Tribune, lost to historians because of a mistaken attribution to Swift's friend Delany. This article will study Arbuckle's critique of Swift, aiming to give an insight into cultural conflict, both Whig/Tory and Anglican/Presbyterian in a period when both Whig and Presbyterian views have generally been overlooked.     

The Iranian Chapter in the History of the Chuvash

The influence of the Iranian culture on Eastern Europe is undisputable. Scholars write of the Southern-Iranian road which stretched from the south, from the Parthians, Persia, and the Transcaucasia, to the north Iranian way through Khwarezm and as far as the Volga. The extent of the Iranian influence on the tribes populating southern Siberia prior to the Common Era however, is much less clear. It is believed that the Savirs/Suvars were the ancestors of the Chuvash. Although this theory has not yet been proven fully, it has served as a theme for historical and philological research. Drawing on geographic, religious, and linguistic materials this study attempts to trace the relationship between Iranian tribes and the Savir ancestors of the Chuvash.     

志书篇目分类述论——兼论志书分类标准制订的需要与原则

本文从传统地方志分类的做法、首轮新方志篇目分类的历程与基本特征入手,对第二轮地方志书篇目的分类标准进行研究。地方志分类标准是地方志独有的,它不能从某个单一角度出发,而应从自然与社会的综合角度拟定,相关部门应尽快制订由国家标准部门同意实施的《地方志分类标准》。

把古建筑复原陈列的精髓还原为一种人与物之间的共振结合体是非常必要的。一般情况下需对构成复原陈列的诸多内容因素进行归纳、合并处理,以找到各要素的交汇点为最佳,否则只能优先照顾最重要的影响要素,适度兼顾其它要素。古建筑复原陈列的展线布局必然受到古建筑物原始设计线路的制约,因此在实际设计中是一种叠加效应的结果。其最常见的展线布局方式有单一、顺向展线布局和块状串联的"中心辐射式"展线布局两种。

论裁判文书的事理阐释

事实是裁判文书的重要组成部分,对事实认定过程的充分阐述是增强司法透明度、维护司法公正的有效方式.尽管我国的审判模式已由纠问式转变为控辩式,但现行的裁判文书样式还没有摆脱以往纠问式审判模式的思维和运行惯性,裁判事实不反映事理的现象仍然存在.本文分析了阐释裁判文书事理的内涵及其作用、裁判文书事理的阐释方法、裁判文书不讲事理的成因以及解决问题的对策.     

关于第二轮修志文化篇的思考

根据中共十六大精神,第二轮修志化篇应包涵精神财富的所有内容。教育、科技同化并列就是作了升格处理。要准确理解化的概念,不能用化艺术为化篇命题。要从化篇或化部类中剔除旅游等非化内容。地方史志、党史、档案等内容应归入化范畴。

古籍文章节选表达了编选者对文义的理解,也在一定程度上表明了作者选文的目的.王力主编<古代汉语>校订重排本的文选中,有些节录依旧需要商榷:因误解古书而删节,不顾文理而删节,有意模糊主旨而删节.这些问题在各类文选中带有普遍性,需要引起重视.
