<正>This paper focuses on the section on "matter" (rūpa) in Sthiramati’s Pacaskandhakavibhāsā and its root text, Vasubandhu’s Pacaskandhaka, providing an overview of the contents and comparing the Pacaskandhaka(vibhāsā)’s positions with parallel explanations found in the Abhidharmakosabhāsya, the Abhidharmasamuccaya, and the Abhidharmasamuccayabhāsya.1 Moreover, two other commentaries on the Pacaskandhaka have been consulted, the Pacaskandhavivarasa and the Pacaskandhabhāsya, both available only in their Tibetan translations.
