近代国货运动阶段性明显,呈现由低级到高级渐次发展的趋势。学界偏重对整体中的某一侧面进行考察,纵向比较分析虽偶有着墨,但都比较笼统,史料也欠详实。《国货周刊》与30年代的国货年运动相始终,集中反映了这次运动的历程与特点。从中可以看出,国货年运动是近代国货运动的最高峰,无论是组织领导的严密性、宣传形式的多样性,还是社会参与的广泛性、运动开展的深入性等方面都远远超出以往的任何一次。

"江南本"《史记》曾藏于北宋御府,至南宋时已残缺近半,后来亡佚.该书的情况,仅见南宋高似孙论及.本文主要依据高氏所提供的江南本《史记》例文,并参北宋景祐本等相关材料校证,得出以下结论:江南本《史记》为五代官写本.该本与北宋官方刊定的《史记》文本有密切关系,可能就是北宋时校刊《史记》用的底本,它是唐宋之间《史记》传承的一个重要环节.     

《论语》“民”、“入”的实际所指与词义特点

本对《论语》中的单音词“民”与“人”的使用情况作了穷尽性的考察,认为《论语》“人”的词义主要指称“有仁德与才能”、“在位”;“民”的词义指称在“知”和“地位”上处于“下等”的众庶。“民”的词义特点是“下”,“人”的词义特点是“上”。这种“下”、“上”的区别反映出的社会现实是：在春秋时代,孔子与弟子有仁德,仁人、贤人、善士、人才有贤能,但不在位;而居于上位的君王、诸侯、卿大夫大多“不仁”、“不德”、“不贤”。众庶则处于为“君”所“使”的“低下”地位。     

Botswana: abortion "debate" dynamics

The Penal Code (Amendment) Bill or the abortion bill has the objective of liberalizing the current law on the regulation of abortion. Abortion had been strictly prohibited and carried stiff penalties. Anyone who attempted to assists a woman to procure an abortion could be liable to 7 years' imprisonment. However, medical abortions were distinguished as being medically determined to save the health of the mother. Demands for a reevaluation of the law came from the medical profession, and in response the Minister for Presidential Affairs submitted a bill to Parliament in November, 1990. The expressed government rationale for these proposed amendments was concern about the health of women. In Botswana about 200 women die yearly because of pregnancy. According to the proposed law: an abortion could be carried out within the first 16 weeks of pregnancy if: 1) the pregnancy were a result of rape, incest, or defilement (the impregnation of a girl aged 16 or less, the impregnation of imbeciles or idiots), 2) the physical or mental health of the woman were at risk because of the pregnancy, 3) the child would be born with a serious physical or mental abnormality. The abortion could be carried out only if 2 medical doctors approved it. The amendments fall far short of increasing women's control over their bodies. The Botswana Christian Council issued a statement early in the public debate. While it did not oppose the bill in its entirety, clear concern was expressed concerning the apparent right of determining who lives and who dies depending on the handicap of the child. This rather liberal position was challenged by the Roman Catholic Church which interpreted abortion as the murder of God-given life. The bill was nevertheless passed by Parliament in September 1991, and the President signed it on October 11, 1991.

The "Crisis" Geography of Contemporary Russia

Against the background of structural and geographical changes that brought about the economic crises of the 1990s in the Russian Federation and subsequent recovery in the early years of the 21st century, the authors analyze the challenges of (and responses to) the 2008 global economic and financial crisis in Russia. Quantitative data derived from official sources and the authors' own research is used to analyze developments at a variety of spatial scales, including inter- and intra-regional, urban and rural. The noted authors speculate about possible exit paths from the crisis and their impacts on spatial differentiation within the Russian Federation. Alternative Spaces of the "Argentinazo"

The ongoing instability in Argentina that emerged from the December 2001 uprising in Buenos Aires (the "Argentinazo") has been one of the highest profile examples in recent years of reaction to the economic "disciplining" of a country. For enthusiasts, this reaction has been resistance, an upsurge against neoliberalisation by people conscious of what was happening and with alternative conceptions of how things should be ( Aufheben 2003 ; Carrera and Cotarelo 2003 ; Dinerstein 2002 ; Galeano 2002 ; Harman 2002 ; "IM" 2002 ; Klein 2003a , 2003b ; MAS 2002 ; Ollier 2003 ). Subaltern resistances such as those developed by Argentines have been the subject of much geographical writing on resistance in recent years ( Castells 1997 ; Leyshon, Lee and Williams 2003 ; Pile and Keith 1997 ; Sharp et al 2000 ). This paper addresses the range of actions, or "action repertoire"( Tarrow 1998 :20–21), of the Argentinazo to examine the extent to which alternative material and discursive "convergence spaces"( Routledge 2003 ) of political engagement emerged both as resistance to, and articulating a coherent alternative to, neoliberalism.     

时序“矛盾”与“增删五次”及版本传抄——《红楼梦》中时序“矛盾”考辨之四

现存《红楼梦》(《石头记》)所有的版本,都只是过录本。这些:过录本,完全有可能不是抄自一种版本,而是拼凑抄的,即都不是据曹雪芹的原稿抄录的(更不是曹雪芹的原稿),这样也就难免出现矛盾现象了。因此,《红楼梦》中存在的“矛盾”现象,不一定都是曹雪芹造成的,而有些是在后来的传抄过程中造成的。同时,还有一些是由于曹雪芹在“披阅十载,增删五次”的过程中,“修改未尽”而留下的“痕迹”。另外,也与作者的注重写意有关。

社团改进会的成立,是以谭人风为首的部分革命党人力图根据民初形势发展的客观需要,对已经落后于时代潮流的旧式会党进行改造,使其成为一有助于民国的“完善稳定之民党”。谭人凤组建社团改进会决不是为了谋取一己私利,也决不是对某一个当权者的委曲求全,而是为了刚刚成立的中华民国的长治久安,是出于一种对民主共和政体的衷心拥护,出于对这种政治制度能不断得到巩固和完善的期望和信心。评价辛亥革命后革命党与会党关系的转化,不能单纯从会党在辛亥革命中所起的作用着手,而必须对其参与辛亥革命的心态和动机及其在辛亥革命后逆历史潮流的所作所为加以足够的重视;不能过分谴责革命派这样那样的缺点,而必须看到,在当时的历史条件下,它毕竟是中国先进生产力及其生产关系的代表,引领着时代发展的方向。     

"On the Way": Reflections on Politics and Passion

Abstract

In Passion and Politics Michael Walzer explores two problems of liberal democratic theory: its refusal to acknowledge the place of passion in politics, and its difficulty in making place for involuntary associations (especially illiberal ones) that shape the character of citizens. Against a background of appreciation for his concerns and arguments, I ask whether his account of involuntary associations is sufficiently complicated or sufficiently rich metaphysically.
