论凌濛初刻本《西厢记》

凌濛初刻本《西厢记》受到今日学人的高度重视,《西厢记》印本一般都以凌刻本《西厢记》作为底本。凌刻本受到人们的关注绝非偶然,因为凌刻本《西厢记》系唯一未受传奇体制影响,体例保存完好、改动较小,与元杂剧最相契合的《西厢记》刊本,此外,凌刻本的校注与批评也有自己的成就与特色,所以,凌刻本《西厢记》在《西厢记》诸多版本中无疑应占据突出而重要的位置。     

白鹿洞书院的环境艺术

依山傍水是白鹿洞书院自然环境的特色。白鹿洞书院与嵩阳书院、岳麓书院、睢阳书院并称古代四大书院,被誉为“天下书院之首”。它位于世界文化景观——庐山的东南,现存元明清古建筑面积5000多平方米。由于书院所处四面环山,俯视似洞,唐代江州(九江)刺史李渤曾在此隐居读书,养一白鹿自娱,故名白鹿洞。南唐在此兴办“白鹿国学”,北宋时更名为白鹿洞书院。书院座东北朝西南,前有一溪,名贯道溪,水自五老峰的凌霄峰来,汇入鄱阳湖,溪南有卓尔山为屏障,书院后有后屏山,左有左翼山和回流山,右有五老峰．

"蜀人好乱"之说起源于南朝,在宋代尤其是北宋仍是社会各界的主流认识。但随着形势的发展,巴蜀社会稳定、地位不断提升,以蜀人为主的一部分士大夫从乱蜀者、蜀中及全国形势、治蜀政策等多个方面,极力批判蜀人好乱之说,为蜀人辩诬。明清以来,蜀人好乱之说更为流行,宋人的辨析无疑在巴蜀史上成为独特的现象,其深厚的历史及思想文化内涵值得人们反思。     

Problems Of Metageography

Metageography is concerned with study of the common basis of geographical regularities and the potentialities of geography as a science. From the viewpoint of metageography, geographical space is the eigenspace of geographical entities. These entities are multiscalar, and there are universal threshold scales associated with different sets of regularities. Each geographical entity has two aspects: it reflects general laws and it is unique. A unique entity has structure, and structure can be expressed by formulas containing spatial parameters. Parametrization, as a method expressing geographical singularity, is suitable only for simple systems. Geographical systems are complex and can be conceptualized only by the method of successive approximations. This requires the development of a calculus of spatial structures. Stochastic analysis is the only sound approach to the investigation of complex spatial systems.

Economic-Geographic Prediction Of The Process Of Economic Development Of An Area (with particular reference to Irkutsk Oblast)

The present stage of economic development of Irkutsk Oblast is evaluated with a view to predicting future trends. The present stage is evaluated in terms of the economic structure of three intra-oblast regions (using Kolosovskiy's technique of energy-and-production cycles) and in terms of historical development axes reflected in settlement field potentials (see the author's paper in Soviet Geography, September 1970). Future development of the oblast is expected to be based on fuel and energy, forest, and nonferrous metal resources. The development process is said to operate both “in depth” (intensification) and “in breadth” (opening up of new areas). Development in depth, involving additional settling of high-density areas, produces pollution problems and involves the need for allocating recreation zones. Future development “in breadth” is expected in the northwest, northeast and south of the oblast, particularly along the border of Krasnoyarsk Kray, where a revision of administrative-political boundaries seems to be required. A reorientation toward the east of the oblast's predominantly westward orientation is advocated.

Abstract

Osphresiology, though beginning with Aristotle, and the title of a classical monograph from 1819 by Cloquet, has, like the human sense of smell itself, played a relatively modest role, compared to other sensory functions. The anatomical and physiological connections of the nose to the brain proved to be more complex than those of sight, hearing and even touch, and were therefore poorly understood before the second half of the 19th century. Moreover, the close association between smell and taste gave rise to much controversy regarding the respective roles of the first and the fifth cranial nerves. Next, came the unfolding of the evolutionary influence of cerebral structure and function ‐ viz Broca's “limbic”; concept, and the “olfactory desert”; in the brains of “anosmatic”; animals. Jackson's “uncinate”; seizures featuring olfactory hallucinations brought the hippocampal formation into focus. Finally, there were the clinical manifestations of hyposmia and hyperosmia, from “coryza”;, the common cold, to injury or neoplasms causing hyposmia, as well as some endocrine alterations causing hyperosmia. (And let us not forget Charles Huysman's “Against the Grain”; and Marcel Proust's evocative fragrant madeleine.)     

A Plane Mathematical Model Of The Growth And Erosion Of An Uplift

On the basis of the same assumptions that underlie the Davisian concept of the cycle of erosion, the author develops a series of equations to express in mathematical terms the combined effect of an uplift of the land and the work of erosion. Graphic interpretations of the equations reflect the conventional three stages of youth, maturity, and old age. Devdariani suggests the problems that remain to be overcome to bring this schematized plane model closer to actual spatial conditions.

明代同城实土卫所的区划

明代的边疆实土卫所是近似州县的行政区划单位。寄治同城的实土卫所,是像内地大府的双附郭县那样分区划界,还是因陋就简并为一区,尚无明论。本文以实土卫所的屯田分布状况为主要指标,以驿递分布、防区形态、城区分野为辅助指标,分析了辽东、宣府、大同、宁夏、甘州、建昌等地同城卫所的区划状况。本文结论是:明代同城实土卫所中,只有宁夏、甘州的屯田,辽阳、宣府的防区,以及各卫在城内的分野,略具分区色彩。它们没有形成以城中衙署为支点向城外展开的扇形分区,也没有形成各类分区大体一致的连片地带。各卫既没有像双附郭县或其他实土卫所那样明确划分政区,又非彻底混杂,而是介于两种极端状况之间,平等分享或主客共享同一个总辖区。
