重庆万州区梁上墓群发掘简报

2004年重庆市文物考古研究所、开封市文物考古研究所、万州区文物管理所联合对三峡库区梁上墓群进行考古发掘.该墓群主要是西汉到南朝时期的石室墓和土坑墓,出土各类文物60件.其中M1、M2、M3、M5、M8可能同属一个家族.为研究长江流域同时期的考古学文化提供了重要的实物资料.

Archaeology in the Graduate School

Abstract

The Graduate Center for Ancient Studies was established at the University of Minnesota in 1973. Archaeology as an interdisciplinary study plays a major role in the program. This article discusses the rationale and the operation of the Center.

吉林省镇赉县白沙滩旧石器遗址出土的石器和动物化石

2005年,由于引嫩入白水利工程的兴建,吉林省文物考古研究所联合镇赉县文物管理所对镇赉白沙滩遗址局部进行了抢救性考古发掘,出土了石制品一件和动物化石若干。本文对此次发掘出土的旧石器作出详细介绍,并对动物化石进行鉴定、测量和描述,为吉林省晚更新世旧石器文化、古生物、古气候、古生态环境等方面的研究提供了新的材料。     

重庆丰都县迎宾大道古墓发掘简报

2004年,重庆市文物考古所为配合丰都县基建,联合丰都县文物管理所对基建范围内的转转田梁子、半边桥以及石宝寨三地的古代墓葬进行发掘.清理出墓葬4座,出土了陶器、铜器和铁器共计60余件,还有五铢、半两钱.这批墓葬的年代为汉至六朝.     

浙江宁波市马岭山古代墓葬与窑址的发掘

2002年4～5月,在宁波市鄞州区姜山镇马岭山一带清理了汉、唐时期墓葬31座,汉、宋时期窑址4座。墓葬包括土坑墓、砖木结构墓、砖室墓等,规模不大,但形制变化清楚。出土有陶器、釉陶器、原始瓷器、铁器、铜器、玉石器等共140余件,还有大量铜钱。此次发掘对研究宁波古代历史具有重要价值。     

古物

古物指与考古学、历史学、古生物学及其他文化有关之物,其范围广、种类多,其保存价值以其时代、数量及其所具备的科学、历史和艺术价值为标准。我国的古物收藏,起自殷商,历经各代,在宋清两朝尤其兴盛,至西方学说传入后,古物被视为公有而供公众观赏。收藏古物,要重视其科学价值,不可收藏的古物应就地保存,可收藏的古物要遵循科学的方法。要认识古物的价值,用近代的方法研究、保存。     

成都市龙泉驿五代前蜀王宗侃夫妇墓

1998年,成都市文物考古研究所等对成都龙泉驿区青龙村的一座砖室墓进行发掘。墓葬为较大型的长方形双室券顶砖墓,墓圹平面呈亚字形,两墓室均由封门墙、墓室、棺床、耳室和肋拱组成。此墓是迄今发掘的除王建永陵之外的最高级别的前蜀重臣和分封亲王墓葬,为前蜀墓葬制度的研究提供了重要的资料。

成都市新津县大云山东汉崖墓的清理

2005年成都文物考古研究所与新津县文物管理所联合发掘了新津县大云山崖墓群中的一座东汉崖墓。该墓为长方形平顶单室墓,共有9个侧室,残存16具陶棺,出土了少量陶器、青铜器、铁器和石器。该墓是迄今为止四川崖墓中发现的葬具最多、使用时间最长的墓葬。     

Curious archaeology: the process of assembling a fringe prehistory

Abstract

This paper compiles an interview with Preston Peet, editor of the recent popularaudience archaeology book Underground – the Disinlormation Guide to Ancient Civilizations, Astonishing Archaeology and Hidden History (The Disinformation Company, New York,2005). The volume positions itself unashamedly at the fringes of archaeology. This interview serves as primary, qualitative data for archaeologists to understand how they communicate with the public, how archaeology on the fringes operates and how editors act as conduits between professional and public spheres.
