《与同年诸翰林论文书》作者辨误

黄宗羲编选《明文海》、《明文授读》时,误将明代嘉靖至万历时期徐显卿所作的《与同年诸翰林论文书》一文置于成化至正德时期的徐祯卿名下,后来许多研究者便据此认为徐祯卿的诗文理论"充满悖论",并试图为他这种根本不存在的所谓"悖论"强行解释,这是不可能成立的。

This guide provides definitions or brief explanations of all the major terms and concepts used in the Institutional Analysis and Development (IAD) framework. Also included are terms from the closely related frameworks on local public economies, public service industries, grammar of institutions, and social‐ecological systems (SES).     

Content,Community, and Collaboration at ESRI Virtual Campus: A GIS Company's Perspective on Creating an Online Learning Resource

GIS requires training to use it to its potential. In 1996, ESRI began exploring ways to expand its successful educational programmes to a worldwide audience via the Web. The ESRI Virtual Campus (VC) opened in July 1997. The paper discusses a few of the many lessons learned during the operation of VC, related to content, community and collaboration, and considers future prospects. The VC continues to evolve in the areas of component-based design, database publishing, community and collaborations. As new technologies become available and bandwidth increases, features that could not be imagined at its conception can now be developed.

《中国的军事现代化:进程、问题与前景》(David Shambaugh,Modernizing China's Military:Progress, Problems,and Prospects.Berkeley:University of California Press,2003,以下简称《军事》)一书的作者沈大伟,是美国密歇根大学政治学博士,现为美国乔治-华盛顿大学艾略特国际事务学院的中国政策项目主任,兼任美国布鲁金斯学会对外政策高级研究员。他既是西方国际关系学界中知名的中国政策学者,又是美国国防部、新闻署、微软公司和德意志银行等十多家重要机构的咨询顾问。从20世纪70年代后期起,沈大伟一直研究1949年之后的中国政治, 出版过《美丽的帝国主义:中国认知美国,1972- 1990》等3部专著,主编了《大中国:下一个超级大国?》等10多部著作。     

Readers and responses to George Sandys' A Relation of a Iourney begun An: Dom: 1610 (1615): Early English Books Online (EEBO) and the history of reading

This paper will discuss Early English Books Online (EEBO) as a tool for locating and researching contemporary references and responses to historical texts and authors, specifically George Sandys' A Relation of a Iourney begun An: Dom: 1610 (1615). It will focus upon two main themes. The first is methodological and will discuss the nature of EEBO and the possibilities and limitations it presents for this kind of historical research. The second turns to a case study of seventeenth-century responses to, and readings of, the Relation and shows how references found through EEBO can both broaden the context within which we view this work and alter our interpretation and understanding of it.     

清代中俄恰克图边境贸易研究的新收获

清代中俄关系的研究 ,由于边界问题的争执 ,一直受到两国政界与学界的重视 ,中国在上世纪特别是七八十年代就对中俄关系有过相当深入的研究 ,比起清代中国与其他国家关系的研究来说 ,中俄关系是研究最为深入的领域之一。不过就清代中俄关系来说 ,边界问题与政治关系探讨较多 ,相对来说贸易与经济的往来研究较为薄弱。清代中俄贸易主要是在恰克图 ,中俄恰克图贸易事关清代经济贸易、外交政策以及满蒙关系等问题 ,相当重要。学术界就此进行了一些探讨 ,尚需要更深入、全面的研究。南开大学历史学院米镇波先生的新著《清代中俄恰克图边境贸易》…
