西部纪行之一 世界屋脊谒雪山

当身边的风景已觉漠然、平淡的生活使人慵懒的时候,我们决定去西部,用手中的相机和虔诚的心愿,去寻访玉洁冰清的雪山圣境,在行行摄摄的奔波中去感受那一份壮美。沿着西部与国境线近乎并行的长路,我们7个人,驾两部车,在夏末初秋时节开始了漫漫旅程。

The changing World : A review

Abandoned farmsteads are a characteristic feature of Scotland's marginal uplands. Yet little is known of the quantity or location of these early settlements or indeed, of the date of their abandonment. This paper outlines a method of mapping and dating deserted settlement sites and exemplifies the method by reference to abandonment in the Lammermuir Hills in South East Scotland. In this area alone it appears that more than 230 settlements were abandoned before 1860, and a further 104 over 1860‐1970. The scale of this abandonment is greater than has been generally supposed and must lead to speculation about the extent of former settlement elsewhere in upland Scotland.

Abstract

This article identifies the current state of knowledge in the literature regarding the possible impacts of future climatic change on archaeological sites and ensembles. Drawing on the literature review a matrix of potential impacts is collated to provide a simplified overview. This theoretical ‘menu’ is then tested by applying it to a vulnerability assessment of the World Heritage site of Skellig Michael in Ireland. The case study results reveal some knowledge gaps, particularly in regard to the impacts of climate change on buried archaeological remains.

阿尔山（蒙古语＂热的圣水＂之意）位于内蒙古自治区兴安盟西北部,横跨大兴安岭西南山麓。1996年设立县级市,是一座新兴的边境旅游疗养城市,内蒙古东部旅游的精华之地。阿尔山域内山峦起伏,河流纵横,植被总覆盖率超过80%,森林覆盖率达63%。阿尔山还拥有面积广袤的矿泉群、天然完整的火山地质遗迹景观。草原森林相拥,湖泊、火山交融,生物资源丰富,加上清新的空气和多样的民俗,使阿尔山成为中外闻名的旅游胜地。初夏,我完成了一次阿尔山之旅,那天然无雕饰的美,那野性原生态的艳,那丰富多变的地形地貌,那红橙蓝绿之景仿佛还不时浮现在眼前。     

The Mountain People——Ethnic Teng

The Teng people are an ethnic group who live in the boundary area of Tibet.For various reasons,the survey of ethnic minorities in China.conducted in the 1950s,excluded the Teng people. Nevertheless,the products,the lifestyle and even the culture of the Teng people are unique amongst ethnic Tibetan.Moinpa, and Lhopa.They are,therefore,named as the"Teng people".
