宋仁宗时代,胡瑗、孙复、石介及李观等人欲超越“汉唐之学”,重释儒经“义理”,体现出“知古明道”的学术自觉。“四公”先以草泽身份筑室授业,後又执教太学,始终将“经义”解析与“时务”、“治道”相联系,为“宋学”启蒙导夫先路。他们反对“声律浮华之词”,审美取向与欧阳修等文学之士颇为不同。其作品多“根柢经术”,醇质务实;不足之处在於好“张大其说”,议论“粗疏”,甚者还有迂阔“矫激”之弊。要之,胡、孙、石、李以儒学名家而献身教育,在学术探索、教育实践及“古文”创作等各方面均有建树,其利弊得失值得深究。  相似文献

Proponents of charter schools credit them with many advantages over traditional schools. One claim is that school choice yields increased parental participation in voluntary school activities—which we shall call education‐related social capital. In this article we test for the independent effect of school choice on education‐related social capital, controlling for general social capital and other potentially confounding variables. Studies of school choice invariably show that choosing parents have a greater level of general social capital than non‐choosing parents. Consequently, any increase in education‐related social capital could be spurious—due to the fact that choice parents start with atypically high levels of general social capital. We find under controlled conditions that school choice has a small but statistically significant effect on education‐related social capital. However, its effect is considerably smaller than for general social capital, as well as for other traditional predictors such as parental education and the school‐related home resources that parents may provide.  相似文献

以撒尼、傣和哈尼三个父权制少数民族为研究对象,以曼春满、曼乍与曼嘎俭村、五棵树与月湖村、箐口和大鱼塘村为案例地,通过问卷调查和深度访谈,对发展旅游村寨和未发展旅游村寨妇女的社会性别观念进行横纵向对比分析,探讨旅游发展对云南世居父权制少数民族妇女社会性别观念的影响。研究认为:旅游发展对云南世居少数民族妇女社会性别观念产生了全面而深刻的影响,旅游带来的社会文化的交融,少数民族妇女主体意识和自立能力的增强,不断建构起男女平等的现代社会性别观念。研究将有利于少数民族社区和谐社会的建设,并对男女平等国策的实现有着重要的现实意义。  相似文献

Abstract

Geography in higher education is severely constrained by its bureaucratic organisation. There is a need for new directions in social science at this level, for the current courses do not meet the requirements of a mass education system in which an academic training is not required for the majority of students. As one of Australia’s largest and most active non‐governmental development assistance organisations, Community Aid Abroad‐Oxfam Australia (CAA) places development education and advocacy among its priorities. This study evaluated one of CAA’s development education programs to determine if a program lasting only twenty‐eight days could heighten participants’ awareness of social justice issues sufficiently to be considered successful. The research aimed to determine what participants’ pre‐program expectations were, and if after completing the program, participants believed that they had been changed sufficiently by the experience to become activists for social justice, thus fulfilling CAA’s stated reason for running the program. The study revealed that all participants had their positive expectations of the program met and all hoped, and most expected, to become activists for social justice in some way in the future. It was therefore concluded that, in the context of a development education program with a limited number of annual participants, 28 days does make a difference.  相似文献

Private universities are a rapidly expanding form of education in Iran, and increasingly include Islam and the social sciences alongside the hard sciences too. What implications does the privatization of religious and social scientific knowledge have for the Islamic Republic? Scholarship has so far responded by looking at the ways in which the Iranian authoritarian state has monopolized religion, repressed the social sciences and hollowed out student activism. Complicating these arguments, this article provides a historical and institutional comparison of higher education in Iran in order to look at the evolving degree of autonomy of academic institutions and the ability of actors that operate within them to contribute to critical debate, social activism and novel discourse. The article proposes that while state universities and Islamic Azad suffer from politicization and control, a small set of privately owned “Islamic” universities is using its elite connections, financial independence and socio-pedagogical ties to the seminary and modern academia to secure enhanced levels of free debate and independent thinking.  相似文献

This article focuses on how social stratification was performed in everyday practice in 1730s Sweden. By studying the titles people were given in the court material of three communities – Uppsala town, Lagunda härad, and Sala town with its silver mine – three factors defining social categorization can be identified: status, estate, and profession. Only people who rose above the commoners were entitled, which means that all titles denoted status. Some titles were shared by different social groups that had little in common, and therefore cannot be said to mark anything other than status. Other titles were exclusive to definable groups. Among those, some were given to groups whose exclusivity was based on legal and fiscal privileges, rather than education or competence. They were simply feudal corporations, or estates. In other groups – all defined by occupations – the members had completed specialist education that included formal exams. In those, social stratification was the result of professionalism.  相似文献

辛亥革命时期的社会化改革,涉及到了教制度、保护人权和铲除封建陋俗等主要方面,成绩是值得肯定的,但是评价不能过高。因为,从民初的历史现状看,改革的影响有限;从改革高潮的全局看,地域有限,主要是通都大邑,部分城市和农村波及不大,即使通都大邑亦不均衡。造成这个结果的原因是多方面的,主要是改革与社会经济基础和社会心理与习俗的变革需求有一定差距。因此,教训值得后人回味。  相似文献
