He stressed that geography had reached a turning point toward a more constructive approach, with greater practical applications, and he said that the new approach also required a new content and new methods, which are still being resisted by conservatives.

Postscript to the Union of Two Worlds: An Expository Note

This note is a follow-up, update, and correction of ‘The Union of Two Worlds: Reconstructing Elements of Proto-Athabaskan Folklore and Religion’, published in Folklore in 2016. First, the note addresses evidence presented by a new publication. Next, it adds an omitted illustration of the comparison of a Navajo ‘Big Fly’ with a Tibetan ‘enemy god’. Finally, it corrects a small-but-meaningful error and clarifies a resulting interpretation about the Huns in Buddhist literature.

一、选题的理由 所谓"帛老",是指1973年在湖南长沙马王堆汉墓中出土的帛书<老子>甲本和乙本.为什么专门研究帛老之犯罪学说?理由是:帛书<老子>与传本<老子>在句意上颇有出入,据统计,有歧异的句子超过一百.另外,帛本中有的句子传本中无,传本中有的句子帛本中无,此种情况亦不在少数.

Following a ‘standstill’: An ethnographic approach to financialization

This article addresses Dubai's recent financial crisis, bringing an ethnographic approach to ‘financialization’. It does so by repurposing the financial concept of ‘standstill’. Focusing on the consequences of the Dubai government's infamous ‘standstill announcement’, in late 2009, it argues that unpacking the literal and figurative registers of this concept offers insights into the political economy and lived experiences of financial crises.

劝学,作为中华民族的古老传统和思想主张,不仅口耳相传,更铭刻在字里行间,那就是一脉相承的劝学类散文.春秋战国时期,学校教育的建立、士阶层的出现以及私学的产生奠定了劝学风气和思想的形成,体现于诸子散文并形成了初步繁盛的局面.秦汉以后直到唐宋,随着儒家思想统治地位的确立和散文的发展,劝学文也日趋成熟和繁荣.元代之后,理学思想和散文创作都从繁荣而走向衰微,劝学文的专门性和系统性有所减弱,文学性也更加淡化,最后随封建社会的终结而完成了自身的使命.

靴形鹿角器产生并流行于距今6000～7000年的淮河流域和环太湖地区,大汶口文化晚期和良渚文化时期仍有孑遗.其功用需分别考察,不带穿孔者为普通的采集工具,带穿孔者为纺织工具.靴形鹿角器对研究当时的环境、纺织工艺、不同文化区的交流有一定意义.
