一件征集的铜佛像

上个世纪七十年代末,成都市物管理处从废品收购站收回一件青铜佛像,收回时佛像的双膝处已被砸残,后背及座子已砸变形,左膝处有修补痕迹。但整体形状基本完好,大致可以恢复其原状(如图所示)。该尊佛像以红铜为主要成分,螺发,肉髻细而高,髻顶有圆球形宝珠,发际线在额中略向下呈弧形,脸部瘦削,眉心有白毫,短下巴,双耳下垂,胸部肌肉隆起。披袒右袈裟,露右乳,

十六国北朝时期,长安（今西安）城内外高僧云集,西域大德来此弘法者络绎不绝,这里成为北方地区的主要佛教文化中心之一。西安地区已发现的此期佛教造像数以百计,与同期周边石窟和其他地区造像相比,既有时代共性,也有显著的区域特征。本文依据考古文献资料,以本地出土的纪年造像为主线,对西安地区北朝隋唐石刻造像的佛、菩萨的基本特征进行了初步归纳探析。     

四川三国时期的画像与佛像

四川盆地内被确认为三国时期的出土物并不多,只有郫县出土的蜀汉铜弩机、威远县出土的蜀汉铜钱、大邑三国画像砖墓、忠县蜀汉崖墓等几组,因而在三国研究中就显得更为珍贵。本对四川大邑三国墓等处出土的画像砖和忠县蜀汉墓等处出土的佛像的内涵进行探讨,进一步谈谈它们的价值和社会意义。     

新疆库车新发现的卢舍那佛像刍议

古龟兹地区(今新疆库车、拜城一带),卢舍那佛像不仅见于克孜尔这一具有浓郁龟兹本土特色的石窟中,也见于有浓郁汉地风格的库木吐拉和阿艾石窟所谓的“汉风”洞窟中,从而形成龟兹本土和汉地两个不同的系统。这主要由于唐朝对龟兹的经营开发,使汉文化,包括汉地佛教及其艺术进入龟兹所致。特别是新发现的阿艾石窟中的卢舍那佛像,窟内古代题记中包含其尊名。此像的面世,为学术界确切命名这类佛像提供了最直接、准确的参照,具有重要的学术意义。
