对我国社会中介组织监管模式的反思与重构

随着我国社会主义市场经济体制的逐步建立以及社会结构的日趋分化,促进社会中介组织快速发展、建立完善的社会中介组织监管体系成为建设和谐社会中的重大课题。然而,我国现行的社会中介监管却受到多种因素的制约,已明显落后于发展的需要,出现了监管存在盲区、监管效率不高以及力度不够等问题。要提高监管能力,就必须从监管理念、监管体制、监管模式等方面进行创新。     

The Mechanical Farm of 2030

Abstract

After introducing influences which will affect mechanization of agriculture over the next 50 years, the review deals separately with three aspects of equipment on farms. These are machinery for arable farming, equipment used in livestock husbandry, and the hardware and software likely to assist farm management. The bulk of crop production is predicted to be carried out by a system of field gantries which will replace today's tractor and implements. The gantries will be fitted with automatic guidance but will still carry an operator who will be provided with extensive monitoring instrumentation. Second, monitoring of livestock growth or yield will be computer based. Health and breeding will also be automatically monitored and controlled, and farm staff will be aided by a robot, whose functions will include remote viewing and sensing, routine animal and feed handling operations, and assistance with animal herding. Computers will be used extensively in farm management with on-farm machines linked permanently to national information data banks, to suppliers and organizations who purchase from the farm and to consultant organizations. Computers will also be used for planning decisions based on operational research predictive methods and particularly for daily work planning.     

What Lula lacks: Grappling with the discourse of autism at home and in the field (Respond to this article at http://www.therai.org.uk/at/debate)

This paper examines the discourse of autism as we have experienced it as parents of an autistic six year‐old girl. Because both authors are anthropologists, we were professionally trained to understand something of what discourses are and do. However, our training did not necessarily help us blunt the original force of the diagnosis. Over time we have come to understand both our daughter and the discourse that is said to define her differently, and these understandings have fed back into our understanding of our discipline. One key transformative event occurred when we took our family to live in a village where we had done previous research. This reminded us of the conceptual power of discourses: we put the discourse of autism to work for our own purposes, but at the same time it works on us, shapes us in ways we do not always realize.     

休闲的理想和现实的反思

20世纪末以来,随着社会生产力的巨大发展和物质财富的极大丰富,人类对自然界的改变将逐渐转变为对人类自身的改变,人类自我实现的需求较以往任何时期更为迫切。“休闲”,这个古老而又现代的命题再次成为理论界关注的热点。2000年8月,云南人民出版社推出《休闲研究丛书》,介绍美国学者的休闲理论。其中由托马斯·古德尔和杰弗瑞·戈比著,成素梅等翻译的《人类思想史中的休闲》一书颇为引人注目。     

Paper 4: Mechanical Properties of Bricks of the Coudenberg Archaeological Site in View of a Proper Conservation Strategy

Abstract

Archaeological sites are essentially submitted to decay phenomena inherent on their history as well as the environment to which they are exposed after excavation. The history of such archaeological sites is particularly related to their long-term underground conservation conditions during which they were subject to salt migration into the architectural remains. This paper describes the results of drill resistance measurements using a drill resistance measurement (DRMS) device to evaluate the mechanical damage resulting from salt crystallization pressures. Further tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) was applied on powdered bricks of often moist archaeological remains. It was noticed that TEOS serves as potential nutrient for present moulds. The mechanical consolidation effect was evaluated by comparing the hardness profiles after treatment with the reference ones. Bricks used for the construction of the Aula Magna, situated underneath the Royal Square, are characterized by severe patterns of fissures for which the damage diagnosis was built up.
