| Abstract: | At the international conference held in Weihai, Shandong on the History and Culture of British Loan and Borrowed Lands in China in the Late Qing Dynasty, scholars from different parts of the world invested and discussed from different perspectives the historical events, the historical characters and relevant topics concerning British loan and borrowed lands in China in the late Qing period, in particular in Hong Kong and Weihai areas, and the results of the investigations and discussions would greatly enrich the academic achievements in this field. |
