| Abstract: | By discussing the unearthing condition, type, shape, size, knitting method and usage of bamboo remains and objects found at Tonglushan mining site, this paper reveals the significance of bamboo materials in deep-well mining from Shang and Zhou dynasties to the Western Han dynasty. The abundant materials in the paper serve as valuable references in researches on the history of application of bamboo work and the development of knitting technique. |
