| Abstract: | The Palace Museum collection contains two letters by Yu Yue, here referred to as "Menxiashi" and "Qunjing", the contents of which relate to the question of the publication of Yu Yue's work of classical scholarship titled Qunjing pingyi. The two letters were once regarded as addressed to Zeng Guofan, but the author's close examination of the two documents reveals that they were not sent to Zeng Guofan but to Qi Junxao. The letters are important documents for studying Yu Yue's life and his intellectual career. |
