Long -cultured by the capitalist civilization, Ealvena has a strong sense of "reason" , whereas her sense of "primitive instinct" also sprouts. The two senses conflict sharply with each other Her experience shows that civilization represses the natural instinct of people and turns them into walking corpses. Her revolt dominated by her sense of "primitive instinct" against the civilized society points out a way to get rid of the fate of death, reflecting the author,s idea of sowing the mankind by advocating the sense of "primitive instinct".
