Affiliation: | Lawrence S. Wittner, associate professor of history at the State University of New YorWAlbany, received his Ph.D. at Columbia University, where he studied with William Leuchtenburg. Among his published works are Rebels Against War: The American Peace Movement,1941–1960 (an outgrowth of his dissertation), MacArthur (edited), and Cold War America: From Hiroshima to Watergate. Currently he is writing a history of American policy toward Greece from 1943 to 1949. |
