| Abstract: | This dissertation sums up the development of the theoretic policy of the Japanese Communist Party in the post - cold war era, explains the fluctuation of its election outcomes, and comes to a conclusion that the Communist Party of Japan plays an important role in the party politics of Japan in the early 21st century. |
