The Judicial Bookshelf

Spring and summer of 2011 brought to mind two instructive American chronological landmarks: the 235^th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the 150^th anniversary of the outbreak of the Civil War. One was as uplifting as the other was disheartening.
