Review on the debate between the new historiography and the old historiography

A lot of scholars who published various viewpoints,threw themselves into the discussion between the new historiography and the old historiography in the first half of 20th century,which is infrequent in the process of modern historiography.This disquisition collates the discussion,commenting on it,which thinks that it developed in different stages under affection of some factors such as the transition of society,the evolvement of academic atmosphere,the desirability of modern subjects of historiography development.
