| Affiliation: | Associate Professor of Anthropology and director of the PhD programme 'Migrations and Conflicts in Global Society' at the University of Deusto, Bilbao, Spain. His research deals with embodiment, violence, healing, social memory and trauma. His doctoral research concerned Venezuelan spirit possession cults, and he is now conducting an ethnography of the mass grave exhumation process in contemporary Spain. He is author of;Escenarios del cuerpo: Espiritismo y sociedad en Venezuela (Deusto, 2004). |
