| Abstract: | Before the Warring Period,the Zhou noblemen didn’t reuse the ancestor temple and sticked to the system of providing grouped temple buildings for every ancestor.From the Warring Period on,the royal seven-room ancestor temple was gradually built.The vassals kindred to the Zhou kings established as the mostly reverenced ancestor in the temple area the Zhou king who was the father of the first vassal. |
