在李唐王朝处于平定安史之乱时期 ,吐蕃乘机占领了河西北广大地区达七十多年。在此期间 ,敦煌呈现出佛教、景教、摩尼教、苯教、祆教多种宗教共存的局面。本文援引大量文献资料 ,对上述宗教的基本状况及相互关系作了论述

The Religious Culture of Dunhuang under the Occ upation of Tibetan Regime in Ancient China

While the governors of Li's reign inTang Dynasty were putting down the turmoil caused by An Lushan and Shi Siming, the ancient Tibet took the advantage and occupied the vast areas of Hexi for as long as more than 70 years, thus brought about the coexistence of different religions in Dunhuang, such as Buddhism, Nestorianism, Mani's doctrine, Ben and Mazdaism. This article cites a lot of historical materials to give an exposition on the general situation and interrelation of the religions mentioned above.
