中国大陆的归侨社团：以北京印尼归侨为例的研究

20世纪五六十年代, 数以十万计的印尼华侨返回中国大陆。由于政治的原因, 他们与海外华人社会的联系一度中断。中国实行改革开放以后, 他们逐渐恢复了与海外华人的联系。20世纪80年代以来, 他们纷纷组建社团, 重拾失落的记忆, 再塑自我认同。本文旨在通过对北京印尼归侨社团的实地考察, 研究全球化背景下归侨与海外华人社会关系的重建及其新的组织模式和认同特点。

The Associations of the Returned Overseas Chinese in China: A Case Study of the Returned Indonesian Chinese in Beijing

In the 1950s and 1960s, hundreds and thousands of Indonesian Chinese returned to mainland China. Their connections with overseas Chinese communities in Indonesia were weaken and severed in the past decades due to the political reasons. Ever since China applied the open door policy in the late 1970s, especially after 1990, these returned Indonesian Chinese have gradually resumed their original overseas connections. They have established various associations and reconstructed their own identity. This study aims to examine the enhancing interactive process between the returnees in mainland China and overseas Chinese communities. It is hoped that this preliminary study could be a good start of further studies in this aspect. $$$$
